- In 1999, John R. Heilman started his investment career as an investment consultant with UBS, managing over $130,000,000.
- In 2003, John purchased an environmental services company. As Co-owner and CEO, John was able to quadruple company sales in 4 short years. John grew the company into a multi-state operation servicing over 50 municipalities and Fortune 500 companies.
- In 2006, after selling his environmental services company to an investment company, he continued on serving as their National Sales Manager increasing sales from $33 million to over $150 million.
- John founded Grounded Investments in 2005 for the intent of purchasing real estate and providing hard dollar lending.
- John entered the REO market in 2010, by partnering with Mr. Harris to form BriarPath Properties, LLC.
- In 2010 BriarPath Properties, signed an exclusive contract to consult Gentree Asset Management, a Canadian asset manager, on their real estate transactions in the United States, which will be purchased through the bulk R.E.O. process. John currently serves as President of BriarPath Properties, LLC.
- In 1999, Aaron Harris began his real estate career in the construction management of multi-million dollar development projects across the U.S. Aaron began investing in the residential real estate market in 2005.
- In 2005, Aaron founded BriarPath Investments, a successful real estate holding company, specializing in the purchase, rehab and sale of distressed properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
- In 2008, he realized the unique opportunity unfolding in the real estate market and began developing relationships with banks, real estate management companies and national mortgage servicers and moved into the direct bulk R.E.O. business. After great success with his own real estate holdings, Aaron partnered with John R. Heilman in 2010 to maximize this business opportunity through BriarPath Properties, LLC.
- Mr. Harris is a husband and father of three. He enjoys hunting, fishing, boating and anything else that is outdoor related.
